Philodendron sp. Corrugatum is a very rare Philodendron in the USA. It has beautifully textured leaves that appear to have a bumpy appearance, and is prized by hobbyists. It is a moderately slow growing species, and can be finicky to root, despite being a Philodendron. It needs moderate light, as bright light may bleach it to a pale yellow, and can cause it to dwarf in size. This Philodendron does well in high humidity, and appreciates some airflow. Moist sphagnum moss is helpful for rooting this species.
All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment. Please contact us for acclimation information if you are not planning to use this plant in a terrarium, greenhouse, or humid room.
