Tropical Leaf Litter - Tamarind Leaves - Micro Leaf Litter

Fully sterilized. MICRO LEAF LITTER! These are the tiniest leaves we offer. They are thin and make beautiful piles. We sell these in small (4x6), and large (5x8). A single, small bag is perfect for a nice layer in a 12x12 footprint. The medium is recommended for 10 gallon horizontal, or 18x18 footprint, but can be stretched to go further.

Leaf litter is useful for dart frogs for hiding, preventing stress, and even egg-laying sites. The habitat that dart frogs are naturally found in contains a deep layer of leaf litter, so it is important to mimic this inside a vivarium for more naturalistic behavior!
