Micrechites sp. was classified previously as a NOID Climbing species "Borneo". It still does not have a species name. It was obtained through a Borneo import and currently is unclassified. They are also native to China and some species occur all throughout SE Asia, so without a species name, it is hard to say where it is native to. It has brilliant, metallic leaves and a whimsical trailing habit. A must have for any vine collector. It makes for an excellent terrarium specimen. It does well in bright, indirect light and moderate to high humidity. Moist soil and sphagnum moss are helpful for rooting this species.
All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment.
