Directions for mixing are provided on label. Can be used with both Melanogaster (apterous and creamsicle) and hydei fruit flies, but optimized for melanogaster.
Use 1/4 cup powder to 1/3 cup or 1/2 water for melanogaster if boiling, or 1/3 cup powder to 1/2 to 2/3 cup water for hydei or if not boiling. Water amounts may vary depending on your environment, start with less water, then add more if it is too dry.
