HF Advanced Tadpole Food is truly one of the most advanced tadpole foods on the market with not only more nutrition than typical tadpole foods, but it is also one of the few that is both cold extruded and organic. Regardless of the high quality of our food, it comes at a lower price point than typical tadpole food on the market as well since we use so much in bulk while rearing our own tadpoles. Now found in our basic tadpole kit and advanced tadpole kit.
Additionally, our food comes in a much smaller sized pellet than any others on the market ( approx. 800μm ), meaning less waste and easier consumption by tadpoles.
Every vial of food comes with a 20mg measuring spoon made of plant based plastic to make it easy to gauge how much to feed each tadpole. Feed tadpoles 1-30 days old 1 scoop (20mg) and 31-90 days old 2 scoops (40mg) every other day. Siphon out any uneaten food after 24 hours and reduce the next feeding if the tadpole cannot eat all food within 24 hours. This is meant as an all-inclusive food for tadpoles to accelerate growth and to increase overall tadpole size for increased survival once morphed, but can be supplemented by other food sources such as algae wafers/powder, bee pollen, and pre-prepared foods such as Repashy Soilent Green.
1 50mL bottle should feed approximately 40-50 tadpoles until fully morphed into froglets
1 5mL bottle should feed 4-5 tadpoles until fully morphed into froglets
