Peperomia sp Banos "Ecuador"

Peperomia sp. “Banos Ecuador” is a beautiful plant and is a fan favorite due to its miniature foliage and trailing growth habit. This delicate species features tiny leaves often measuring around 1/4 inch across, accented by subtle green venation and soft reddish tones that can intensify under ideal conditions. Its slender stems may develop attractive reddish-pink coloration, adding extra contrast in humid tropical displays.

Once established, this species grows surprisingly quickly, spreading into dense mats over hardscape and substrate or cascading beautifully from branches and backgrounds. Its miniature size makes it especially well suited for detailed naturalistic vivariums, terrariums, and high-humidity tropical plantings.

All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment.
