Monstera esqueleto
Monstera esqueleto is a rare Monstera that is fairly new to cultivation. It is thought to have originated from collections from Kew Gardens and has been found at numerous botanical gardens in Europe. This plant can get absolutely massive in situ, but usually stays fairly manageable. It is larger than some of the more common species of Monstera, and the fenestrations are much more intense, although it looks much like adansonii until it matures. They appreciate light and high humidity.
All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment. Please contact us for acclimation information if you are not planning to use this plant in a terrarium, greenhouse, or humid room.
