Native to forests, streambanks, shaded woodland floors, and humid rocky habitats throughout North America and parts of Europe, the FrogDaddy Temperate Moss Variety Pack is a curated assortment of live temperate mosses designed to bring a true old-growth forest aesthetic into terrariums, vivariums, paludariums, and bioactive enclosures. Unlike many tropical mosses that form flat carpets, temperate species often develop dense cushions, upright tufts, feathered mats, and rolling hummocks that create a far more natural and textured appearance.

Each variety pack contains a constantly changing assortment of live mosses and occasional liverworts collected from multiple genera, which may include:

For mounting applications, the mosses can be pressed directly into FrogDaddy BryoBase™ to establish natural moss walls, tree trunks, rocky outcrops, and forest-style backgrounds.
